Frontline tonight was great
They did an investigative piece of the NOPD post-Katrina and several questionable shootings. I was aware of bits and pieces of what was shown, like the shooting on the bridge, but there was so much more I didn't know. It was much worse than I thought. Sections of the department where under the mistaken assumption they were under martial law, with "shoot to kill" orders for the looters. There showed cover-ups of several instances with the most shocking one was when the department tried to hide a burnt body in a car.

PBS has the show online plus additional information. I recommend checking it out--http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/law-disorder/?utm_campaign=homepage&utm_medium=proglist&utm_source=proglist

4. Excellent show!
The "ham sandwich" bothers me. It would be nice if that kind of crap only happened on TV shows.

Great work by the Times-Picayune, too.

6. Frontline lost me with that bogus Kennedy assasination whitewash
They used to be so good, still have moments -like "The Warning", about Brooksley Born. PBS used to be great before the Republicans infected it with wonder bread and cheez whiz.
