Democrats should Call for the IMMEDIATE resignation of Gonzales (replace him with Fitzgerald) |
|
Democratic Congressment have a true opportunity to accomplish a few big ticket items in one fell swoop.
Given the new information from the testimoney of Comey yesterday and with GOP members coming out calling for Gonzo's resignation, the Democrats should immediately call for the A.G.'s statement and note that the ONLY acceptable replacement at this point in time (to heal the Justice Department) is Patrick Fitzgerald. He has done his duty in a non-partisan way and has already served with acting powers of the A.G. He would put an end to the nonsense that has been the legacy of Gonzo.

The guy has been basically caught perjuring himself and both SJC and HJC are publically stating as such (based on Comey's testimony yesterday... something that was drowned out by Falwell's death).

2. like a rabid, frothing mouthed, wounded animal, |

the President and his crew will absolutely refuse to do anything of the sort. Gonzo is here to stay, and even if the stories continue to pile on, about his illegal activites, his scoffing at the constitution almost as much as he sneers at Congress, and worse. nothing will have any impact on these folks. All they know is battle, and as a last resort, to toss overboard those servants who prove to become a lightning rod. But in Gonzo's case, it is not that he knows where the bodies are burried; it is that he carried Bush's shovel.

4. To tell you the truth, I don't think Fitzgerald would want the job. |
|
Too much BS and corruption with this administration.

7. Why Fitzgerald? What did he do that was so great? |
|
Oh.... Libby. He convicted someone for lying, while the rest of the criminals are still running business as usual. I almost forgot.

10. Yeah... but he only used that flashlight outside, in broad daylight.. |
|
Granted, he's done some excellent work before, but this investigation, with ONE INDICTMENT, left a bad taste in my mouth. The whole criminal cabal should have been gone by now. Is it Fitzmas yet?
