Think Progress & The Politico back me up on Huckabee's "beauty shop" slur

Earlier today, I posted this thread complaining that Mike Huckabee's "John Edwards in a beauty shop" line from last night's GOP debate was a thinly-veiled re-do of Ann Coulter's "faggot" slur...and I was ridiculed for it:

The audience loved it, but note that Huckabee said “beauty shop” even though Edwards did not get his $400 haircuts at a beauty shop. (The barber came to him.) The use of “beauty shop” therefore seemed to be a sexual dig, a somewhat more sly form of Ann Coulter’s calling Edwards a “faggot” recently.

This is what the blogosphere is for, folks - to discuss these sorts of things that the media or the general public may miss.
