Here's a budget saver - Force all LEO's to enforce traffic laws instead of drug laws. Here's why

Too many friggin' drivers just literally illegally cutting people off by the molecules (inches) from being an accident. I've had to brake a few times REALLY hard because some idiot decided to pass to the left to "relieve" congestion when in front of them is a broken down bus that has clearly placed warning decals to bypass them past the traffic lights. On the left is actually a turn lane, and I've already seen idiots using the lane illegally to bypass the traffic and cut people off long after the light turn red.

I would say about 50% of the drivers are thoroughly unqualified to be in the public streets and needs to see their license revoked and their plates yanked, car towed and sold off in auction to pay back the coffers.

I've been caught speeding a few times, most of them in a notorious speedtrap downtown (and a really bad one - I have to speed up to climb up the hill, and get caught every time - it's easy $130 from me to the state. I have no argument and was happy to pay the fine). It happens at least once a year, but no tickets this year, and I hope to stay that way because I typically avoid notorious speedtraps.

But, some of the drivers doesn't EVEN know how to properly drive, and I'm speaking about drivers of all ages - one teenager ignored the red light that had been on more than 5 seconds and ran it when I was trying to make a legal left turn and was waiting for traffic to clear. And he got a big fat bird from me. And that is my pet peeve.

altogether and have a fleet of bicycles maintained by the cops
