Edited on Fri Aug-27-10 11:43 AM by RamboLiberal
C-SPAN will be covering Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally at the Lincoln Memorial this Saturday, with Sarah Palin among those expected to attend. Coverage begins 10amET.

Beck was on the Mall again today (above) taking another walk-through in preparation for Saturday.

C-SPAN also will cover the Rev. Al Sharpton's "Reclaim the Dream" rally at Dunbar High School in Washington, DC. That event will be shown on C-SPAN later on Saturday. Rev. Sharpton will be a guest on C-SPAN's live call-in interview program "Washington Journal" Saturday morning at 7:45amET.

6. This should be entertaining.
I guess no one told then that Washington is hot in August. They should start dropping like flies after about three hours.

7. Will they be broadcasting the march to reclaim MLK's message?
If not, I think that we should be raising hell.

8. Uh oh, this could hurt attendance
In fact, I'm sure it will. "Nobody showed up at Glenn Beck's rally because they could see it for free in the comfort of their own homes." The excuses are being manufactured as we speak. It will also be useful to have a record of every last insane thing that's going to be said and done at this rally, so that in three weeks or less, when the Nitwit Brigade is trying to gin up some new controversy, we can remind them of what they considered to be existential threats to the United States back before Labor Day 2010 changed everything.

11. I hate to say it but I think he's going to have large attendance
Edited on Fri Aug-27-10 12:30 PM by RamboLiberal
I've seen a lot of info on the web about the number of buses coming from various areas of the country including many who are already there. Also they were lining up at 5am this morning & tickets were gone by 6am for some dumbass Divine Destiny prayer session he holding today at Kennedy Center.

Like everyone else I'll be curious how many of these fools show up tomorrow.

9. Guess Glennie had to call it "Restore Honor".
It would draw the wrong kind of crowd if he titled it "Beckfuckfest: Watch Glenn Mentally Masturbate". He's still drawing the same crowd, by the way, he's just trying to give them a euphemistic cover.
