Why didn't I think of this before? I know what Beck is up to...
He expects the next Congress to be controlled by the Teabaggers and in a couple of years, a new Teabagger president elected...

All so they can pass a brand spanking new TEABAGGER CIVIL RIGHTS ACT!

No wonder this fucker, Beck, is trying so hard to piss all over MLK's legacy.

He thinks he's sly, but so am I.

3. Nah. You're giving him way too much credit. His main and only
goal is to pull Rush's audience so HE can be the one making 40 mil a year. It's just all about him and he doesn't give a rat's ass about the stupid.

4. Never underestimate one's opponent...
That way, it's easier to use overwhelming force to crush them.

5. I think he's just trying to weaken the moral edge of the Democrats.
The Democrats generally oppose wars like Iraq, support equality, and do a lot of things that the Republicans know are the morally correct things to do, so conservatives are always trying to find ways to pretend they are really the moral ones. That's the whole reason they are against abortions--after supporting death in just about every form possible for the living, they assuage their guilt by creating their fantasies that abortion is murder and they are the defenders of unborn children.

This is more of that. They are on the wrong side of most human rights issues, so now they are trying to convince themselves that they are the real inheritors of King's legacy. That way they look better, they can pretend to themselves that the liberals weren't really the ones behind it, and they can go on being bigots.

Same reasons they pretend that school prayer had something to do with virtue, or that our Founders were all Christians, and all of their revisionist stuff. The Texas School Board wants to ban Thomas Jefferson and the word democracy from school curricula, not just to brainwash our kids, but so they will stop being reminded that they are always on the wrong side.

6. I think he's gonna run for President as a third-party candidate.
By the time the election comes 'round, he'll bashfully say that "God has called him to run," and S'Error Palin will end up being his VP candidate. They'll Christo-hypnotize all the Baggers and be elected in a landslide.

(Slight :sarcasm: is intended....)

11. Years ago
Rove said the pubbies were going to crush the Democrats and rule forever.

That was @ the the advent of the DRE vote counter.

But the people revolted and have just about gotten rid of Roves machines. Of course Rove won't admit it and beckkk sucks up to rove, so there you have it.
