Maybe they are coming back alive? I wouldn't base whether the escalation is working on 1 or 2 days. Actually, sometimes they don't get reported or posted right away. For this month, still only 8 months higher rate since invasion.

A soldier from the Navajo Nation has died serving in Iraq.

The family of Army Sergeant Christopher Gonzalez says he died yesterday, though the Department of Defense has not confirmed or released details of his death.

4. The officials in Iraq have banned all reporters from scenes

where there has been bombings or someone killed. The US has banned all the soldiers from sending emails home or interacting with You Tube so I suppose they have clamped down and censured the war.

They are going to make sure the people in this country do not hear anything else about bombings, deaths and killings in Iraq looks like.
