1. NBC Aerial photo pegged it at 87,000. |

Any quote of more than that it is probably the result of double vision, or lying...

I ever posted such a thing? I don't think so. In fact I did post about 2 books. Anti Intellectualism in American Life, (1964?) and Idiot America, circa 2007. dc

4. I can accept that there is a range of intellect. But willful ignorance - that's another thing. |
|
And to me, that is the scariest part of all of this.

11. I think you are making a distinction without a difference. I see |
|
believing in an imaginary friend in the sky as ignorant that no such thing exists, or a low level or range of intellect, and resultant gullibility, and as a willful ignorance of the non existence of the lack of any such thing. So what is this difference of which you speak? Can you articulate it? Or is it some gospel you have been given somewhere? dc

7. Oh, I know. I did not say you were. I was just stating my position. |
|
With a tad of intent toward irony. I'm just saying I have always recognized a great deal of stupidity in america. So in a sense this is nothing new. There just seems to be more of it, more organized, and with a far greater emphasis on some rather stupid ideas. And Fox has been fostering it for many years. dc
