Nah not really, that shit will never, ever happen.. If you guys want our leaders to fight for us it has to start with us. This is about how we do that. And the video is an example of it


This October you will see alot of attack ads like Reids capitalizing on Angles insanity and gaffes ((scratch the gaffes she is pure insanity)) which is great, our party is rather competent at capitalizing on the sheer insanity of some of our enemies.


Sadly what you won't see is attacks launched against the core tenets of the conservative movement in this country.

As while the conservative movement has been effectively branding liberals as a whole with tenets of which are not even ours (framing our tax hikes as targeting everyone, and people believing it) we have failed miserably in doing the same.

Think about it, If our political leaders and strategists were at the same level of those on the right, right now we would have..

+Inequality and the growing gap between the rich and the poor would be a massive if not the biggest campaign issue of today.
+In the health care debate we would have created powerful narratives with all the families of the fallen Americans who died at the hands of our murder for profit health insurance Cartels.
+Everyone in our country would know that wreck-less deregulation of the past three decades caused all the economic pain they are feeling right now.
+Millions of our jobs have gone overseas with trade policies crafted by politicians not for the betterment of our country, but so multinational corporations can up their profits with third world dirt cheap slave labor.

And then some..

As Robert Greenwald said just the other day in an interview with Ed Schultz, no matter what the Republicans are constantly on the offensive 24/7 while were busy apologizing for occasionally fighting for the middle class.

They were exclusive, obviously our party is full of corporatist whores, you will get no debate from me there.

But what are you trying to say? That because Blue Dogs and New Dems are corporatist whores that we can't attack the Republican party for being them?

It's about controlling what the debate is, if the debate is driven by the right like it usually is we loose by default

If the debate however is "Our economy is in the shitter because for decades the Republican Party were corporate tools and continue to be" then were much better off

And at the same time you sharpen your attack,weaken those in our party on the wrong side of the issue and bring issues to the public attention that weren't big issues before and come primary time real progressives have a much better launching pad to start from against the corporate whores in our party.

Or we could let the right control the debate and discuss the really important issues like the mosque!

C3-A illustrator
C1-To be in the middle class

C2-will never be as much as the previous generation

C2-because over the last thirty years

C1-The Republican Party deregulated
- C2-Wall Street
- C3-the oil industry
- C1-Removed trade barriers with china
- C2-rewrote the tax code
- C3-redesigned our whole economy

C1-And as a result the middle class makes much less than they did thirty years ago after inflation
C2-While the salaries of the top one percent have rocketed (show graph)
C3-Republican trickle down economics
C1-the rich won and everyone else lost
