NBC should keep it this way - Brian Williams is better as MTP host than newscaster,

and David Gregory is better as a newscaster than MTP host....Gregory sucks on MTP and Williams isn't good as a news anchor...Reverse the two, and it works far better..

And NBC should have kept John Sieganthaler to, he was a good anchor..

So you're right, this is basically old-school conservatism.

And I agree that Brian Williams is a much better MTP host than Gregory. I found the discussion this morning interesting and engaging. Not the usual contentiousness that Gregory brings to the table.
