I just finished watching "Bobby" |

I can't hardly think. My God...this film was the work of a lifetime. Emilio Estevez is brilliant...just fucking brilliant.
I'm just absolutely overwhelmed.
Get this movie. Buy it. Rent it. Steal it. Show it to your friends and family.
Understand what we've lost.

I was around when first King and then Bobby were murdered. This, coupled with the election of nixon, signified the end of hope for this country.
In fact, when Lyndon said he wasn't going to run again the first thought in my mind was, "Fuck, now we're going to get nixon!". Bobby's run gave me some hope that nixon would be thwarted and the war ended but the right-wing and/or the mafia and/or j.e.hoover took care of that possibility.
