Glenn Bec IS a Mormon
"Glenn Beck is one of the most popular political commentators in the United States. Between his TV show, and nationally syndicated talk-radio show, Beck reaches millions of Americans every day with his commentary about politics.

Glenn Beck is also a convert to the Mormon faith, joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1999 along with his wife and children. If you do one thing on this site, be sure to watch the video where he talks about his conversion story in more detail!

Beck cites the influence of many Mormon friends throughout his life as one of the primary reasons he joined the Mormon Church. His wife, Tania, also told Glenn that she wanted them to share a faith before they were married. At the time, neither Tania nor Glenn were active in any faith, despite Glenn’s upbringing in the Catholic Church. At that point, Glenn and Tania went on a “church tour” to find the faith that they could share as a family.

An old friend, Pat Gray, invited Beck to visit the Mormon Church. Despite hesitations, Glenn visited soon after, resulting in he and the family immediately becoming interested. However, Beck struggled with the decision to join the Church—telling God he didn’t want to be a “Mormon”, as he describes it. After earnest study and prayer, Glenn knew that he wanted to be baptized and requested that his best friend Pat Gray baptize him.

Since that time, Glenn Beck has shared his conversion story in many venues—TV interviews, speaking tours, presentations to Mormon youth and typically whenever the opportunity presents itself. Watch one of these TV interviews below."

You know who else was brought up as a Catholic? Hitler. Is that just a coincidence? Yes, it is.

10. What's funny is that he has probably never set foot in a mormon church.
at his WHITE-A-PALOOZA BecKKK love fest on Saturday he mentioned putting a 20 dollar bill in the basket at church "last week". The mormons don't pass baskets for money. The tithing goes in an envelope and is sent to the bishop.

So either he's lying to impress the southern baptists/evangelicals (who do pass baskets) or he's a non-practicing mormon who has never set foot in a mormon church and he thought he could sneak in a lie about his paying tithing last week.

14. I have put on my tinfoil hat & have a theory...
Thinking about this - I have worked with alot of Mormons over the years and they were always trying
to convert me (haha - I'm Jewish - they'll wait till I'm dead) - they were always trying to convert everyone.

The go on missions and go door to door trying to convert everyone to Mormonism.
They dig up graves of Jewish people and convert them.

I can't help but wonder if Beck's sole purpose was to convert everyone with all his religious talk.

19. My mother was raised in a Mormon family.
Her sisters all married in the church to decent mormon men and most of them had fairly large families (if they could). My mom left the church at 18 and never looked back. My experiences with mormons is that they are nice to your face and family -oriented, but engage in a lot of two-facedness gossip and back-biting as soon as you turn your back. We had the same experiences with the family of one of our daughter's friends who we've known for nearly a decade. One day the daughter stopped coming to our home because her parents said that we "weren't christian enough", whatever that meant. At the time we were going to church every week and my husband was an elder in our church. I always felt sorry for the daughter as she never seemed to measure up to her mom's expectations (they favored a younger, cuter daughter instead). Our experience is that mormons believe in many rules which have nothing to do with being kind to others, and that while other christians may worship God that their way is better and that we (protestants and catholics) won't ever get the best things in heaven like they will get. Mormons also tend to not want to be around anyone else but their own kind as they are afraid of being "contaminated" by even other christians. Once again, that's my experience based on personal interactions over the years as well as stories told by my mom on how the church treated her.
