As you may have heard, PBS is caving into the Concerned Women Of America. They are boohooing to PBS to not show the program "A Brief History of Disbelief" which is a very well crafted program that takes you through the history if disbelief in a fare manner, there is no religion bashing. Its an over view of Atheism, from inception as well as the persecutions of skeptics by the 'faithful' through out history.

Ex: Tomas Paine, whom the early colonies revered, who participated in the French Revolution and whom also coined the term "The United States Of America". Paine was an Atheist/Skeptic.

Please email PBS and tell them to broadcast the program in the same respect that "The Mormons" was broadcast. http://www.pbs.org/aboutsite/aboutsite_emailform.html

27. "Concerned Women of America" !?!??

Any women DU'rs here know of this organization? Can we get some women to infiltrate this organization and straighten them out a bit? Why the hell would a "concerned woman" not want this show broadcast?

To many questions, I know. But I want some answers!

I hope you would air this show and not cave in to those who think that people who deny the existence of a deity are not capable of positive contributions to society. Deeper understanding of those who do not believe is needed, because what most people hear about us is said by those who would create a theocracy in this land if they had the power. Unfortunately, they control most of the media and their version of our beliefs is what is typically presented. Your program would be a much more honest display of our beliefs.
