Sometimes people need to be shown that stupid is as stupid does. I say we put a boycott on Smithsonian for wanting pieces of this Million Moran Beck Commercial and the only way for us to back down is either Smithsonian back off and doesn't get any piece if the shitfest memoribillia, or the "mosque" gets built in NY without any problem or arguement. Yes this idea sounds stupid. But hey, the "mosque" debate from the opposition is stupid as well.

Yes it is a great institution, but I treasure the constitution more so than a couple of museums.

Asking the Smithsonian to refuse to collect any artifacts from the Beck rally would be asking them to betray their role in society. They don't exist to serve a political point. They exist to collect everything they can of the American experience, and what it means to be human.
