6. I am now! This morning I read the NYT article and then Tweety did a great report on it tonight.

This story is HUGE! The WH council and WH aid tried to illegally get a signature from a man on his hospital bed 1 DAY after he had MAJOR surgery? They knew full well the program was illegal, Ashcroft was NOT the acting AG at the time and they were WILLFULLY breaking the LAW!!! AND...the psycho was behind it!

Well it's true there was no blow job involved, at least not a presidential one, but Bushco is screwing the Constitution and the nation; i.e. we the people, so your question is certainly a valid one. there was a news story about Ashcroft being visited in the hospital for this purpose - not exactly sure when it was - don't think it was this level of detail - because when I heard about this testimony - I thought to myself well we already knew that from before - but unfortunately like I said I'm just not sure when before was - but it was a while ago.....

20. You know what really gets me about this story??

My daughter was in ICU with pancreatitis ( the same thing Ashcroft was in there for ) and there was no way in hell you could have asked her anything. It is an extremely painful burn to the inside of the body, and they need major meds. My daughter was put in a medically induced coma. I don't know how this story can be true. Unless Ashcroft was that much better. But if he was, then he wouldn't have needed to be in ICU, he would have been in a regular room.

So when they went in to talk to him, he had to be heavily medicated.
Something doesn't add up.
