1. I think there were about 78,000 of them in DC last weekend
'Course, three quarters of them weren't literate or smart enough to form sentences.

6. Paid spokesmodels as in all advertisements. Requirement: ability to say "oll" for "oil"
Edited on Tue Aug-31-10 05:59 PM by Hekate
"If yew tax oll, we'll lose are jobs." (sorry, that's my best phonetic rendering)

edited to add: I suspect some are BP employees who have been informed that the job that may be lost is their own if they don't make this ad for the boss.

10. Same observation here. My guess is locals
who are out of work and will say anything for $. "PLEEEEASE don't tax the poor 'oll' companies!" Or the BP commercial that says they are 'concerned' about the damage and they have paid out x amount and the have $20 billion in a fund (that wouldn't be there if the president hadn't forced them and I still think it is not fully funded yet).

7. They still believe the Reagan BS about how taxing the oil and gas companies will drive up the cost
and make their commodities more expensive. They seem to forget that just a short 3 years ago gas prices jumped to unbelievable prices all due to speculation on the world market, while the oil/gas companies were getting tax cuts plus the capital gains they made weren't taxed either so they received a double tax cut while we paid record prices.

hire "common people" to push their lies.

Former Miss World who was all put together and sophisticated and what not. :puke:
