Most of the defendants are licensed med-mar patients or licensed med-mar caregivers.
I've never heard of a judge denying people their needed meds.

Judge won't let defendants in Oakland raids use medical pot
Mike Martindale / The Detroit News
Waterford Township -- Ten people waived preliminary hearings this afternoon on charges stemming from raids last week of medical marijuana facilities.
Judge Richard Kuhn Jr. of 51st District Court adjourned the pre-exam conferences for the defendants until Oct. 7 and Oct. 19. Those arrested during raids of medical marijuana facilities last week in Waterford Township face charges of illegal manufacture, sale, possession and use of marijuana.
Oakland County Sheriff's deputies raided Everybody's Café, a restaurant and compassion club on Airport Road in the township, and Herbal Remedies, a marijuana dispensary on Williams Lake Road. Six others were arrested during a raid at Clinical Relief in Ferndale; those defendants will appear in 43rd District Court on Thursday.
Despite pleas from attorneys, Kuhn declined to drop the bond condition that those charged not be permitted to have or use marijuana. Most claim they use the herb to address serious health ailments and pain.
The judge's ruling drew angry groans and remarks from some of those charged and their supporters, who packed his courtroom.

"This is a mess and nothing more than entrapment," said Teichman, of White Lake Township, who is facing eight charges of manufacture, delivery and sale of marijuana and a firearms offense. "We check the identification of every patient we deal with, and those undercover cops had either proper ID and paperwork or forgeries so good we couldn't tell the difference."-snip-
