NOLA Clinic day1 and Big Ed (report from the field)

Approx over 600 people came through the clinic today and a lot of people worked to make it happen. Ed Shultz broadcast from the Clinic and as I went over to talk with him I was called to escort a patient... :) A lot of people worked hard today and we accomplished quite a bit. I was told I could have an official press pass but had to give up my red shirt for a while to do so. I opted to just sneak in a few photos and didn't get any of the clients. I met a lot of great people today and am looking forward to more of the same tomorrow.

1. Excellent - slight side note

I was looking to see if this group provides free dental care too, and ran across this other group I'd never seen before. There are free dental events all over the country. People who need care should look and see if there's one near them at some point soon.

the services change in the different venues depending on what comes available. There is not dental or eye care here in NOLA but other events may have it. The next event is in Charlotte, NC in December. The opportunity to serve is awesome.

by someone that I was on TV while there was an interview with Ed before his show. I didn't get to see it but I am the one in the red shirt. ;-)
