Wow! Another Tropical Depression

This looks serious up the road - don't like the track.

have it going everywhere from straight west to straight north!

7. It's referred to as the African Train. It's normal activity for this time of the year.

The odds are against this one actually forming into a hurricane.

9. Why? Shear?

11. My local meteorologist said that it "was not expected to make" but did

not say why. I would also assume high altitude wind shear but don't know for sure.

I expect we will see a LOT more activity for awhile.

16. Local meteorologist is not forecasting "Gaston" to form into a hurricane and

follow the same path as the others before it turning north and going up the east coast.

The storms earlier in the season did not form do to strong high level winds that would not allow for any organized development.

Shows turn NW by slightly north

Wd then hit Carolinas

If the turn increases later I ....amatuer

Wd hope miss land.

Wind map oddly more into future than path map if I read it right
