Fine Shrub --- keep Gonzo!
His blind faith in a corrupt and incompetent AG is symbolic of Shrub's total detachment from We The People. I doubt he'd be hanging on to him if Shrub was up for re-election, but we all know he does not give a shit.

Gonzo's continued employment offers DEMS an opportunity to use him as a poster boy for all that is wrong with the BushCo regime. Rethug Chuck Hagel threw down the gauntlet today saying:

The American people deserve an attorney general, the chief law enforcement officer of our country, whose honesty and capability are beyond question. Attorney General Gonzales can no longer meet this standard. He has failed this country. He has lost the moral authority to lead.

Now all the other rethugs running will either need to fish or cut bait on Gonzo's tenure. Shrub's arrogance will swallow the Repuke party. Fine Shrub --- keep Gonzo; it reminds us just how isolated you are from common sense. Every day you keep him on the payroll, is another day closer to the DEMS kicking your lapdogs ass in 08!

:kick:

I go along with River Stone. He's just another bad example of Bushdom.
