Why is the US suddenly offering rewards for missing soldiers? |

Staff Sergeant Keith M. Maupin has been missing for over 3 years, and Bush said he wouldn't negotiate for him. Suddenly, we're handing out $200,000 for some information on the latest missing? Talk about a flip-flop.
I don't think money talks like it used to in Iraq. Iraqis probably figure the minute they open their mouths, they're headed for Abu Graib or Gitmo, that's how destitute the U.S.' word is in the Middle East, Iraq in particular.
