Hold John Hagee Accountable To His Own Past Words... |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-01-10 05:55 PM by rsmith6621
....A couple of years back Pastor John Hagee called the Catholic church a CULT...a False Religion...stated they had nothing in common with the Christian church Hagee preaches for..said they were doctrinal opposed.. Well the fact that Pastor Hagee would share the same stage with Glen Beck a Mormon makes him a hypocrite....Hagee has a tape series and states that the Mormon church is a CULT as well in fact stated that Mormon church is SATAN........ Hagee at best is a Unitarian.. Here is Hagees contact page...If you are a Christian here on the DU why dont you leave a message... http://www.jhm.org/ME2/Sites/dirmod.asp?SiteID=8112722C039B4E508F0AB8552B898895&sid=5A4949E5333C49F4946CBE082D20D0CA&type=contact&mod=Contact%20Form&cfid=F434627D1A494A61A5CBC45A64D7F15F

1. Hagee also calls the Catholic Church the "Great Whore" referenced in Revelation |
|
Not sure what would make Hagee a Unitarian, but maybe it has to do with his belief in one God (trinity aside) while Mormons believe in many gods. Or so I understand it.
Thanks for posting John's contact page. I'd go on and post, but awhile back I asked God to tell Hagee what I think of him--and since John seems to have a direct line to God, I'm hoping the message got through. Not that it matters...sigh...

2. I wouldn't call him a unitarian, |
|
that being with a small u. I'm sure he believes in the trinity and God, Christ and the Holy Spirit as one. In general Unitarians believe Christ was a man.

Uh - I'm a Unitarian Universalist -
We do believe in one God - but disregard the concept of the Trinity. The belief in the Trinity is what ultimately makes people 'Christians' - at least at the council in 325 it did.
This man - is NOT a Unitarian. He is not welcoming, accepting, affirming, allowing others to live and let live - and most important -
He does NOT stand on the side of love. He does not stand on the side of humanism either. . .
I betcha he even believes in hell! Something I don't think a single UU I'm associated with believes in either. If you come to UU from a Judeo-Yeshua-Jesus Perspective - then it's impossible. One God means one God. Hell creates another God aka Lucifer, Satan, Beezlebub, etc. etc.
