So now that Obama has stated it how about this
Obama talked about taking care of the troops needs and veterans, not just the current conflicts but all veterans. I welcome this and hope we will as a nation. Let's start talking about and working for these veterans also and they are our banished veterans. I interviewed one that really struck a nerve with me a few months ago and have tried to rally people to get involved but sadly with less results than I had hoped. I ask you to give this attention to these and all veterans but these served our nation honorable and instead of being treated like citizens, got kicked out of the country. Please check this link out and see if you too think this a good step to start doing what Obama mentioned.

Personally I think this is far more worth attention than it is getting and hope we will start giving it more attention.

1. wow this is interesting
this statement was from Obama's speech last night and one that got my attention. I have seen numerous threads, some actually being a little bit hyperbole about his statements on Bush, but yet this issue that is very important to our nation is not gaining attention. Why?

3. With an army of 2 million Obama is smart to highlight his help and respect of veterans.
Think of the extended families of each and every veteran and you have a lot of people who would be happy to hear Obama's speech.

7. sad you haven't and let me enlighten you even more
I had on my radio a veteran named Fabian. Fabian was awarded a medal for his bravery and courage when in Kosovo he risk his own life to rescue his commander from sure death. President Clinton personally awarded him the medal and commented how proud he was that Fabian was an American. Fabian finished his service honorably and got work in California and starting a family of his own. He lost his job with a check due that he didn't get as was suppose to in time, his mortgage payment check of about $700 bounced and he was arrest and deported. He doesn't have PTSD but he is brown skinned. If you want to know more about it I can tell you where you can hear my interviews with him, I had him on my show 2 times.

Here is the link and where to find his story http://smcws.podbean.com go find the one with Carmen Cornejo which in the second hour Fabian talks to Carmen. The first time it is listed as Hector being on but Hector was given an interview with a TV and had Fabian stand in on my show. It is worth the listen.
