1. yep... Fiorina is snarkier than I thought |
|
and that's saying something.
She's very low on substance too. I wonder about her father having been almost aborted back when... wasn't it illegal then? hmmmm

5. It sounded to me like she said a lot of things that Californians |
|
wouldn't like! Like "All jobs are global now." And her stance on people on the no fly list getting guns, and a lot of other things. can't really make an honest judgement because I had a biased opinion before I even watched the dbate. I'll be interested to see what happens in the polls by the weekend.

8. Only caught the end of the debate, but from a 2nd Amendment view |
|
Boxer came across very badly. The no fly list is a government list that has no appeal process and anyone can be put on it. Trying to kept someone from owning a gun because of it is very, very bad policy. And Boxer's lack of an intelligent response to those comments did not set well with me.
Other than that issue, I thought Fiorina (sp?) was clearly on the attack and came off very snarky. I thought Boxer was the big winner during the closing remarks.

ETA I didn't learn a blessed thing about either candidate, that I didn't already know.
They are quite polarized, as are the voters. I believe tonight's debate will serve only to reinforce decisions that voters have already made.

3. Andrea Martin could do a great impression of Fiorina. |
|
That's my impression, 'cause I have the sound off!

4. Fiorina is a scary, scary woman. |
|
She came across as very superior, how horrible for her that she even has to deal with this stuff. Trying to convince the pathetic little people to vote for her. Why, she's a multi-millionaire, she shouldn't have to deal with this crap.
To say Fiorina is out of touch is an understatement.
Boxer seems to have a good grasp on reality, and she's very much correct to point out Foirina's outsourcing of American jobs. If she did that as CEO, she'd had no hesitation to do that as a Senator.
Barbara Boxer is the clear CHOICE for California.

6. She has to be extremely power hungry. Maybe she should take her $$$ |
|
and buy a small country and establish herself as dictator.
