Don't know if you noticed this: |
|
On Saturday at the Glenn Beck rally, St. Louis Cardinal manager, Tony La Russa, and his star player, Albert Pujols, showed up to make an appearance. I suppose they wanted to stop by and see what was going on, or they wanted to support the Beck-ster.
Last laugh: Well they went from contenders to also-rans pretty quickly. All the Beck appearance got them was 5 losses in a row. That's right! The Cardinals haven't won a game, since La Russa and Pujols went to see Beck.
Maybe God sent Beck a geese flyover, but he sent the rest of us a message too. Stay away from Beck.

3. They have also been greeted in St. Louis by |

some rather negative comments. Apparently there are local Cardinal Fans, who did not take too kindly to mixing sports and politics (even though La Russa assured everyone that there were no politics involved).
