I've said this before: Anyone who lives in DC can tell you geese are hanging out in that area ALL THE TIME! On that patch of ground between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial are the Reflecting Pool, the Rainbow Pool and Constitution Gardens. All are shallow, man made bodies of water surrounded by large fields of grass. All that noise from the teabaggers applauding as the rally started probably spooked them- one one of them takes off, the rest will follow. And they always fly in a wedge. You'd think Glennie had never seen a goose before.
