Source: msnbc

..is nominated for her current position
All us lefties freak out because she'll be replaced (through some funk state rules) by Jan Brewer
Jan Brewer will spaz out on illegals and then climax with her recent debate
probably some other awesome stuff that will guarantee a Dem gov of AZ

What else is coming in the next couple months.

Spock...eat your hear out!

2. Brewer gave one of the worst performances ever in a televised debate.
I only caught a clip of her opening remarks, or more accurately, opening dead air, as she appeared to have nothing actually prepared to say other then 'ummm, uh and (static)'. I gather it went downhill from there.

3. Brewer is an idiot but she's up 19 points in the polls.
Arizonans generally support SB1070, unfortunately. It's a Libertarian paradise here. So very sad.

6. Here I think they're both.
Last night on the debate the Libertarian candidate said, "I'm a Libertarian but I don't think privatizing prisons is a good idea, at least for the most violent felons. It might be okay for DUIs and other lower level crimes." It's a paraphrase but I think I'm pretty close to what he said.

People are bamboozled into believing the crap spewed by the RW and the Goldwater Institute that must have old Barry spinning in his grave.

11. Actually even most of the "democrats" in this state
Edited on Thu Sep-02-10 11:59 PM by ProudDad
are pitiful specimens afraid of their own shadows.

And the majority of those who vote are brain dead, white retirees waiting to die...

That's why brewer will probably win...

In case you missed it though: Jan Brewer's brain fart...

It is an amazing moment in politics...

10. I beg your fucking pardon.
The people of this state ELECTED Janet Napolitano -- TWICE.

This state is NOT "full" of "right wing whacko" anythings.

13. Napolitano was elected because she didn't mind sending people to death row
On the scale of "democrats" she's on the far-right end...

She was just marginally sane in a government filled with insane fucks and the republicans must have really run some major duds against her.

She will forever be reviled by sane Arizonans for deserting us though... There's a special circle in hell for expedient, selfish jerks like her...

12. Arizona has ALWAYS been an outlier
Edited on Fri Sep-03-10 12:01 AM by ProudDad
This is the state that shipped over 1300 striking mine workers out into the desert in New Mexico to die in 1917...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bisbee_Deportation

There's a long history of bat-shit gun crazed anti-worker, Mexican hating nutjobs here...

By the way: Hooray for the IWW -- http://iww.org <--- The IWW lives!
