well my sensible dem leadership, you want to be oppressive republicans and now looky. cant say im all that upset over this, considering the offensive platform they suggest we follow. continuing mass arrests and destruction of lives.
they need some re-education.

Poll: Republicans and Marijuana will Win in the November Election
The latest Survey/USA poll conducted for a handful of California TV stations, including KABC-TV locally, continues to show that Republicans have the lead. That's a pretty consistent theme if you take a look at other recent polls. The poll, which surveyed 569 likely voters, also found that the legalizing marijuana initiative, Prop 19, would pass.

The difference, however, between the past two Survey/USA polls and this one is that Prop 19 is losing support. Now, this is just one survey, but one must wonder when the likes of Senator Dianne Feinstein and other democrats coming out against the initiative, what does that do, if anything? Here's a look at the three polls:
Sept. 2nd: Prop 19 wins 47% to 43%
Aug. 12th: Prop 19 wins 50% to 40%
July 12th: Prop 19 wins 50% to 40%

As for Republicans, today's poll shows them winning -- well, except in the Lt. Governor's Race:

Governor: Whitman (47%), Brown (40%)
U.S. Senate: Fiorina (48%), Boxer (46%)
Lt. Governor: Newsom (44%), Maldonado (39%)

1. With the Gov/Sen poll numbers, I'm convinced a lot of Californians are already smoking something....

2. And if so their victory will be hung around their neck as a weight.
as to those that help such a thing to happen.

Unless they can defend why that should happen. However if Democrats support broken or wrong systems also, the same thing should happen to them.

So it might not matter who wins, as much as if those in those positions decide to fix the system by removal of monopoly corrupt groups, or if they choose to let it crash and burn to remove them.

And it has to be global to have an effect.

3. Can someone explain to me why an actual progressive like Boxer . . .
. . . is trailing the woman who fired a small suburb's worth of people like Chainsaw Carly?

Are people in that state THAT stupid or is this one of those polls that isn't really worth paying attention to?

4. She and brown have not started spending
while both Fiorina and Whitman has been throwing all but the kitchen sink.

It is September, and the spigots should start to open.

5. indeed. It all starts with Labor Day
and then the work will really begin.

It is hard to believe that ickey Carli would be ahead of Barbara Boxer. Boxer been a very stanch, progressive Democratic senator and that's why the r's are spending so much to defeat her.

6. And with all she's spent, in the poill favoring her the most
she is ahead by three percentage points.

There are many problems with polls these days, but that is well within the MOE.
