Question: why do reporters keep saying "it's going to be fun", |
|
when they are talking about repugs taking over congress. http://www.salon.com/news/politics/war_room/2010/09/03/gop_backstabbing_coming/index.htmland I heard it on npr yesterday.

3. Like Tweety & comedians saying Shrub was fun, GORE was boring |
|
LENO and other comics claim that a-holes are good for them because they provide more material. The Politico a-hole Mike ALLEN (the weird dude, son of Birch Society dude) recently said the same thing, about "fun" and "make it interesting" if Rethugs took over.
Yaas, they are supposedly above it all and their fun is all that matters. It's all a game because they are so sophisticated and their priorities are SO in order.

4. Reporters are news junkies. |
|
As a journalist, I find even tragic days immensely interesting and exciting. It's how reporters get reputations as being cynical and heartless.

6. I don't think a reporter saying a switch in majority is "exciting" necessarily means more than what |
|
it says. It might, but it's not the first thing I think of.

7. Yes, continuous stonewalling and regression is going to be "Fun". |
|
Watching this country go further in the shitter because of petulant spoiled fucking brat assholes gumming up progress on the marching orders of their owners is going to be "fun".
Superceding the will of the people is going to be "FUN!"
Watching working and unemployed Americans suffer all for the goal of reducing Obama to another one-term Carter (wish all you want for President Failin', bastards . .. it's not going to happen), it's going to be "FUN FUN FUN".
That is, if you have a cushy job that allows for idiotic opinion to be broadcast to the masses.

10. Because Reporters are like cops or firefighters |
|
They're bored out of their minds and doing nothing useful with themselves until something bad happens.
