1. Amen!
Bury them. Everywhere. They are our enemy. On a personal level, a local level, a state level, and a national level. Bury them before they bury you.

9. Yes. They refuse to really fight and become populist/ pro-worker.
They figure, hey if I lose, I'll just go into the lobby business and join one of the corporations.
Now, if they really fought and pissed off big business, big business would black-ball them.
Why risk that, when going through the motions pays so much better. No real fight, no real opposition to corporatism.
Its a corruption of our system that will not change.
We are fucked.

3. I'm calling it Operation Dead Dem Walking
This isn't a coincidence. It's the same inevitability game they played to get us into the Gulf, and when they tried to convince us that the 2008 presidential election was too close to call.

6. Follow that question... and how strongly did the party pull for Martha Coakley?
Did they really pull out all the stops?

20. How strongly did Coakley pull for her own campaign?
Coakley screwed up, plain and simple, and she opened the Senate up to the teabaggers. Ted Kennedy is spinning in his grave.

it really doesn't matter who is in office....both parties do as the wealthy tell them. I just want out of this game. We can't depend on the dems. We The People need to take power.

I'm really really tired of this Kabuki Theater.

edit for typo

17. When I was in my 20's and I heard people say stuff like that I used to think they were crazy.
But I have spent 4 long motherfucking years of being told to to keep my powder dry while I watched our party legislatively complicit (about 25% of them, at least) with the absolutely insane laws passed under Bush. It's not that all elected Democrats are corrupt. Just enough of them to prevent anything truly meaningful from taking place.

I'm glad I have DeFazio representing me in Oregon. He's one of the good ones.

But...that theater you talk about. I have become so painfully aware of it I try not to think about it any more.

18. RFK, Jr.
says that 100% of the repugs are corrupt and about 75% of the dems...that sounds about right, I guess.

The Senate makes me sick. And Blue Dogs should be in their respective dog houses.

After getting the House and Senate in 2006 and we did NOTHING about impeachment, the betrayal was complete for me.

Our country is moving backward...another Age of the Robber Barons is upon us.

14. somehow demo's must make their messages
more easily digestible to the masses of relatively low IQ, illiterate FAUX news reactionary. Just as FAUX channel utilizes loud, colorful flash-and-dash graphics and "dramaticizes" their stories, :bounce: the DCCC needs to respond in like or they'll never reach a great deal of the redneck audience who are largely suckered in by the likes of the TEA party "americanism".
I feel some of them can likely be reasoned with, and may listen to another point of view if it's packaged colorfully, dramatically and stuffed within the lesser attention span sound bites.
Some issue, proved to be CREATED by their beloved repub's, needs to tick them off and cause the same kind of non-cerebral "knee-jerk" reaction that Koch, via FAUX and friends has been bamboozling them for years now. Remember, freinds, how daddy Bush wanted to be remembered as the "education" president, and slashed educational budgets worse than any time in previous history. Of course, sonny Bushy followed suit with daddy, and between all the repub's efforts the dumbing down of the "average American" is getting embarassingly obvious.
Nothing wrong with the approaches that appeal to the more cerebral, but it loses those who only tune in between reruns of "ow my balls" (Re: movie: Idiocracy)
Yes, we must stoop to appeal to those who cant see the forest for the trees the likes of FAUX whacks them over the head with.

16. Obama did a great job of connecting with people when he was CAMPAIGNING.
We don't need some bullshit wedge issue... we just need Obama to work for Main Street like he promised to do in his campaign.

They know what to do. All of them. They live for what they do and they want what they do to continue as long as possible. They play good cop bad cop but they are careful not to tip the balance of power between the parties.

I really hate election years and we have them every fucking two years.
