They ought to replace Elisabeth Hasselbeck with a TV tuned into Fox News |
|
Edited on Thu May-17-07 10:47 AM by lynyrd_skynyrd
She clearly has nothing to say.
The subject this morning was about the Giuliani/Ron Paul "moment" during the Republican debate. Joy Behar agreed with Mr. Paul that it is American policy in the Middle East (supporting dictators for oil, attacking Iraq without provocation or UN approval, building permanent bases, etc...) that breeds terrorism against the United States.
The sum total of Hasselbeck's contribution (delivered in her trademark shrill cacophony) amounted to "I don't like terrorists". When Behar and O'Donnell and even the guest host tried to calmly (as best they could) explain the point - that American policy leads to more terrorism. See: Iraq - she resorted to "Do you believe terrorists exist"?
My I.Q. just dropped about 80 points after having watched that. She can't go on maternity leave soon enough. I propose they replace her with a TV tuned into Fox News.:puke:

A TV tuned into fox with a different doily each day. She is a great representative of conservatism, ignorant trash.

3. I'm glad I don't watch TV. |
|
Seriously - I'm at home on maternity leave and my friends and co-workers email me throughout the day asking what I'm watching on TV. I think they're stunned when I tell them that I haven't turned the TV on, not once, since I left work.
I literally only watch Keith Olbermann and movies (well, I did watch a VH-1 special about Heavy Metal with my husband Monday night, but the only comment about politics was Dee Snyder v. Tipper Gore and the PMRC).

9. You should add The Daily Show and Colbert to your list of shows to watch. |

18. Isn't the Daily Show now on opposite Keith? |
|
I used to watch it some, but there was a reason I couldn't always catch it (I don't remember now what it was - probably something to do with my son or something, not sure).

5. She is real hard to watch, it reminds me some really think her way |

token ditz I guess. She adds little or nothing to the show IMO.
Thank goodness Star Jones isnt there, next to Star Hasselbeck is an improvement.

6. Why does she have that job? |
|
I didn't even know who she was before she magically appeared on The View.
What did she do, or not, to be "famous" (re: have an opinion worth paying attention to.)

10. I think she was on "Survivor." How that qualifies her |
|
to be on a daily gabfest like The View is a mystery. She's as stupid and ignorant as they come. The other day she said steel melts at something like 400 degrees. She's the very textbook definition of a moron.

11. They hate us for our freedoms... |
|
1. The freedom to interfere in their politics and economies 2. The freedom to choose and support which evil dictators rule their countries. 3. The freedom to pick and then change sides in their quarrels based on who has the most and cheapest oil. 4. The freedom to bomb and/or invade them because.....well, because it's fun and our troops need the practice. 5. The freedom to pump their oil for ridiculously low prices subsidized by our tax money. 6. The freedom to disrespect and belittle their culture, religion, and life styles to the extent that we empower extremists who point these facts out.
Did I leave any 'freedoms' out?

8. Well, she *did* get invited to the Chimpleton's dinner with the Queen last week, |
|
Edited on Thu May-17-07 10:59 AM by Rob H.
she's been a guest on Hannity & Colmes in the past and is an avid FoxNews watcher, so of course she's an idiot. It wouldn't surprise me if she's being paid under the table à la Armstrong Williams to promote Bush's moranic strategeries.

15. I think it's good that she's on the show. |
|
She gives a good picture of the brain-dead supporters of Bush. A lot of people, particularily women, who ordinarily aren't interested in politics, are getting a good education. Rosie, Joy and most of the guest hosts always shoot her down and they sound so much more reasonable and intelligent than she does.

but she says the same shit over and over like a little programmed robot. She talks about others thinking republican's are "brainwashed", then she proves it by reiterating what she's already said many times before.

I mean, she's married to an NFL jock, and burps out babies so the lipstick lesbian demo is out.
Really. Why?
