Dem congressmen/women and Senators.
why are you not fighting back? Are you or some of your children.family members being blackmailed somehow? Are you afraid that if you speak out against the CONS that they will target you somehow?

Are you really a Dem? If you are afraid of these things isn't it time to get your asses in gear to dig up or leak some info on them? Aren't you being targeted already?

1. Decent people usually try to be decent to other people.
It is a great flaw when dealing with the right. You can't be decent to assholes. They will take advantage of you and then screw you. They need to wake up to who our collective enemy really is. It's not terraists or Muslims. It's Republicans and other right wingers. From the little subhuman crapwad you work with right up to Michael Steele.

2. Not to defend wishy-washiness, but elected women have a tough tightrope to walk
They'll be criticized if they're too firm/tough/strong-minded/aggressive/confrontational.

They're also criticized for not being tough enough/firm enough/ etc.

And YES, they will be targeted, because they're easy targets.

So what is the answer to this conundrum?

I don't know.

But we haven't come far enough baby, and attitudes haven't changed enough yet about women in politics, the Wasillabilly aside.

6. I'd argue that Nancy Pelosi has done more Republican smacking...
than most of her fellow party members in Congress. Let's be fair, the House isn't the problem. If Harry Reid ever put up half the fight Pelosi does, we'd be in a better position. If Obama had half the guts Pelosi has we'd still have hope.
