Shouldn't this war criminal be on trial in The Hague.

2. Pinochet felt that way as well Gateley
Cheney will probably escape via death but the others won't be so lucky. Our planet still has decent people who will pursue them to their graves.

Unlikely to happen, though.

4. God I hope so. My regret about Cheney's illness is that he'll
escape any punishment. God forgive me, but I hope he's living in fear of impending death. Which, by the way, is too easy for him.

I'll remember Pinochet :7

6. well, I think it's been pretty drawn out...cheney has to be plugged in at night I understand.
I, for one, hope he has a "Lee Atwater" moment and asks for forgiveness for his transgressions. But if he goes bitter in that goodnight, well, he dies a bitter, old, diseased, disabled man in probable panic that he could stop breathing at any moment...not a good place to be and certainly not a place I'd want to be.

At a certain point, we have to be content with letting go that which we cannot control...and get on with what we CAN...

:hi:

9. He's terrified right now
That fugging coward must be in a state of constant panic - just like those he tortured.

11. I get the impression Cheney has always been able to control
pretty much whatever he wants. I can't imagine what it must be like for him now. I ALMOST feel for him, but not quite.

It will be interesting to see if he does a Lee Atwater. But if he does it on his deathbed we'll never hear about it - his daughter will make sure of that.

19. Why don't we all forget about her? She is so peripheral to our concerns right now.

Let's concentrate on what we CAN change and not what we can't?

I don't know, it just seems to me to be the best way to change things here...

7. They are just re-stocking the nutcases in anticipation of their takeover
Wall Street Journal, Fox, NewsMax & all the other right wing publications will be publishing Addington's "solutions" regularly, so that when the repubs swoosh back into power, they will be acceptable and considered normal:(
