They want an employment contract for their members that gives them some rights to job security at about 1/1000 of the cost of the platinum version that the CEO gets.
The corporatists somehow feel warm and fuzzy with giving carte blanche security to the overpaid individual that runs the company, but they consider it un-American to give rank and file workers, who have zero control of strategy and policy, the right to similar job security.
Frankly I see it as un-American for the head of a company to have any contract that gives them rights to compensation or security or benefits. Their success should be based 100% upon their ability to do the job and get results. If they can't do it then they should be fired.
