"White House going into full-on economic mode"
Seriously MSNBC, WTF is this bullshit‽

Obama's been on the economy for his entire administration.

1. I'll tell ya......
....it is exactly according to plan! Roll out a lot of stimulus spending and programs for small business loans and make the republicans vote against it before the elections. Small businesses and the unemployed are a huge block of voters the republicans cannot do without. By forcing them to show their continued "just say no" strategy, the dems can "cap" em in the knees.

Pass or not, we win either way.

And you can bet your ass they be whining about it, too. Boner and Beck will probably get together and have a good cry, while other republicans will seek solace with their mistresses and boy toys.

This is America's chance to "just say no" to the "just say no" party!

5. I think this is why it's taking so long for Elizabeth Warren to get nominated for head of the CFPB.
I think that Warren gave herself away when she backed out of teaching classes at Harvard this fall - she's likely to have other work soon...

I think that Obama wants to nominate her really close to November and dare the GOP to vote against her. Or recess-appoint her and get the GOP howling against her.

6. Yes. It's my opinion that will be the chosen chess-move
at this stage of play.

And not a bad one, if executed with forcefulness and genuine commitment to do what is right.

9. If this is so, then is it a move right out of Karl Rove's playbook.
Recall, 8 years ago at this time, Bush and company brought the Iraq War resolution to debate and then a vote in October 2002.

3. Let me introduce you to Congress because Obama can't just start taxing corporations or others on his
own.
