Is anyone else having problems submitting alerts?

I tried to submit alerts on a few random threads and keep getting an error message:

Invalid URL
The requested URL "/discuss/duboard.php", is invalid.

Perhaps I'll try logging off and back on again.

3. Good idea, log out-log in, restart puter, clear cache.

In that order.

One of these ought to do it.

I hate clearing cache because auto-fill on some items gets dumped.

4. how do you "clear cache"?

5. The steps will be different depending upon browser.

Could be under preferences or tools.

I haven't needed to clear cache in years.

Use the search function to find out how for your browser.

For DU, I think cookies may need to be cleared.

When I have trouble at DU, though, it's because I have too many windows open, so I quit and reopen the browser.

I had to shut down & reboot to fix the problem. :hi:
