Will the Teabaggers go to the Polls? |
|
Simple enough question, will the Teagaggers go to the Polls lacking Tea Party candidates? You'd think the easiest thing in the world for the Democratic Party to do would be beat a seriously divided Republican Party - but the Pundits don't seem to think so - why?

1. I am inclined to say yes |
|
But they sure didn't vote here in our most recent primary.

Of course, I can't imagine much beyond a public lynching that would draw them like bugs to the light.

4. Many of the so-called "Tea Party Patriots" I've asked aren't even registered to vote. |
|
Funny dat.
I tell them that's what I would do to protest the gubbamint, too, not vote, stay home, just carry around poorly-spelled signs and complain about Obama being Muslin and a furriner.
Others I've talked to who are registered aren't voting Republican, either, as they see mainstream Republicans as 'sell-outs'; they are voting for various Libertarian candidates or other assorted fringers.
The Teabaggers will be the death of the Republican party as the rift widens and they splinter.
The oligarchs are losing control of their Frankenstein.

5. I wonder if they even know that they HAVE to register? |
|
The ones I've seen interviewed are so clueless, that I could readily imagine them thinking they could just show up and DEMAND to be allowed to vote.

8. I asked one fine teabagger fellow why he wasn't registered |
|
to vote, and he said that the Democrats will use the voter registration rolls to round up those that vote against them, and then get sent to the 're-education' camps...run by Mullahs.
I desperately tried to keep a straight face.

If we ever reveal our secret...... just never remind them it is now legal to wiretap and torture.

6. In a strange way, I think some of the teabaggers have some things in common |
|
with others upset today. Unfortunately, many of the teabaggers have had their frustrations channeled into RW crap and religion. They are upset with what runaway capitalism has done to them, too big to fail, a lot of stuff I hear on DU, but the teabaggers just don't seem to get what's going on... they seem extremely gullible, easily led and not introspective at all. Anyway, that's just my 2 cents as I ramble on...

10. The ones that can vote likely will... |
|
but I would guess that at least 10% of them cannot vote - my BIL can't and he's a teahead... I'm thinking some couldn't even find the polls...many have never voted before and will not...
It's not a given that they will bother...The rich leaders of the teabaggers will and the dupes they bused in that are in the upper classes will too...but the average person they sucked in and bussed around since they had nothing better to do - well no I don't think so.
