Here is more corporate media propaganda for those of you to make the case that President Obama should move either to the left or the right.

AUSTIN — The Texas general election opens this Labor Day looking like the Year of the Angry Voter.

Two years ago, the momentum was with Democrats. Even though Barack Obama lost the state while winning the presidency, excitement for his campaign produced regional turnouts that helped at least four Democrats win seats in the Texas House.

The tide appears to have returned to the Republicans' favor. A recent Rasmussen Reports poll found just 34 percent of Texans approve of the job Obama is doing as president. That is bad news for Democrats in a state that has leaned Republican for more than a decade.

In Harris County, the only thing to catch fire so far has been the voting machines. Democrat Gordon Quan's challenge to Republican County Judge Ed Emmett is barely smoldering.

1. Interesting That This Post, Unlike My Overtly Pro-Democratic Posts...
...gets a positive rec count. I guess if I start paraphrasing Glenn Beck, I might crack 100 recs so long as I change "socialist" with "corporatist."

My point in posting this is to illustrate how different media sources are saying the exact same thing. The opinions and analysis from supposedly impartial sources are all trying to whip up momentum for a Republican takeover in 2010, and they have been trying to push such a take over since the start of 2009.

2. So mostly all republicans won the seats in Texas and
they have a republican governor and they went for MCCain, BUT THE TIDE IS TURNING FROM THE DEMOCRATS TO THE REPUBLICANS. This is the kind of silly stupid stuff republicans post isn't it. Wonder what would have happened in Texas if in the last elections the people were in favor of the republicans. Gee hmmmmm would love to know.
