Fat guy can't work in case he topples over and crushes his colleagues

A morbidly obese father has been diagnosed as too fat to work by doctors who fear his weight may cause him to fall over and crush his colleagues.

Barry Fowers, 51, who weighs a life-threatening 30 stone, worked until October last year assembling industrial power source equipment.

4. He has diabetes and sometimes suffers from hypothyroidism
It's not quite as ridiculous as The Daily Mail makes it sound. It's not his weight, it's the fact that he has had dizziness before and probably will again.

With all that being said, it is ridiculous that the company couldn't find another job for this man to do that doesn't require him climbing up on platforms. Of course, it won't be long before somebody here says it's his own damn fault for not keeping his weight under control. :eyes:

2. 420 pounds - that does seem a little heavy to be climbing on to platforms and working
but it sure seems like there should be another job he could safely perform.

3. Well, his wife looks to be still alive and I'm sure he's
been on top of her a few times...he has other ailments that should have disabled him rather than his weight...
