Religion.
The social hand-grenade of society. One must be careful with what and how they choose to talk about it. One misstep or lapse in judgment, and boom - Shards of emotion and rage can get splattered all over the place. Not a pretty sight.
One such hand-grenade got set off this past summer with the Muslim Community Center in New York, or as most will call it, the “mosque debate.”

With unemployment on the rise, it’s a good thing these two people have free time to argue about a building.
Muslim religious leaders from New York proposed a mosque, a place of worship for Islam, two blocks away from the 9/l1 attacks.
The reason why this is such a big issue is the attackers were Muslim extremists.
Families of 9/11 victims have been vocal either for or against the planned location. City officials have been in constant talks in hopes of moving it elsewhere.
What people don’t seem to realize is this is not really a mosque, but a community center. Complete with a swimming pool and other recreational activities, the only ties it has to religion is including one small pray area for Muslims. It’s not even a complete mosque to begin with.
