Fox News parent company funded North Korea through network of subsidiaries: report
Source: Raw Story

Fox-published games based on 'The Big Lebowski', 'Men in Black' boosted Pyongyang's economy

North Korea, one of the poorest and most politically isolated countries in the world, is undergoing something of an economic renaissance thanks to a growing software industry fueled in part by American media company News Corporation, a published report declared Monday.

Developers from the country's General Federation of Science and Technology were responsible for creating the mobile phone games "Men in Black: Alien Assault" and "The Big Lebowski Bowling," according to reporters Matthew Campbell and Bomi Lim, writing for Bloomberg.

Both games are based on films produced by 20th Century Fox, the movie arm of Rupert Murdoch's international media empire. News Corp., which ultimately published both games under its Fox Mobile label, owns the Republican-leaning Fox News Channel.

Rupert is a fucking commie, pinko, socialist traitor!

For the sake of clarity, all of the above words are spelled correctly.

7. Saudi-owned Fox News helps fund North Korea too! Yikes!
And the Republicans were complaining about the Asians funding Bill Clinton's 1996 campaign. Well what will they say now that a Republican arm is funding the most oppressive Asian regime ever? Interesting story, thanks for posting.

9. Saudi Royals believe people can not self rule.
With that thought comes deception and dumbing down people so they don't see they are without self rule.

That alone says enough about their beliefs.

Although it would be easy to postulate on many more.

Even if Murdock was for anything, the way it is presented on his news, and his support of consolidation of things like media, is enough to know he has wrong ideas.

It is not that complicated.

13. Worth Noting, this isn't illegal
This doesn't contravene any sanctions. The sanctions are against the North Korean elite and their bogeyman weapons programs.

Also this is like a subsidiary of a subsidiary and the dealings started before News Corp bought the company in the first place. I doubt Rupert Murdoch has ever heard of this or played any part in the decision making process.

Anyway, I think sanctions are counter productive anyway. Free trade will get North Korea to open up. I'm not universally in favor of free trade (NAFTA was a bad idea).
