Obama finally hammering the republicans, a good sign
Obama gave a great speech and a good proposal on new spending to rebuild our country. I think some Duers are being overly harsh on him about this as I was reading the various reactions. I am a critic of Obama, but damn, he is finally doing something right, give a little bit of credit.

I hope this is a new signal that Obama is going to have a change of heart and forget about the bi-partisan crap, and tell it like it is, the republicans are horrible and should not be rewarded for being asses by being put back into power.

Good for you President Obama!

2. Don't mean to sound negative...
but it may be too late...the repubs and their friends in the media own the narrative already and based on some recent polls it will be hard to turn things around......

5. This is the fire that his voters have been pining for
We will rally again, especially if he actually backs his speeches up with good legislation and when we're faced with the hungry black hole that a Republican win will be. Nothing escapes the hunger of a black hole. Not even light.

9. 50 billion is nothing ...it's crumbs. Did the Tarp money put people back to work?
Yea the Tarp money put Wall Street back to work. What about the over trillion spent on the military this year alone? It makes 50 billion look like chump change.
