For once can we just have OUR election instead of the noise machine always kicking in to high gear?

3. Pollsters and Pundits
They get paid for prognosticating just like people get paid to predict the NFL draft or who will win the Super Bowl.

The only way to get rid of them is not to listen to them or read them.

17. No, but Nate Silver and Charlie Cook are.....
...and they predicted the Obama win and Democratic retaking of the house and senate in '06.

5. I'm getting tired of Washington Journal (C-SPIN)
starting every morning with the same question, albeit different articles and different authors.

HOW BADLY ARE THE DEMOCRATS GOING TO LOSE THIS NOVEMBER?

I find myself watching this show less and less lately.

6. I wonder if those pollsters and pundits
are just trying to be seen as "smart" telling us what to think, or, have they been bought off.

7. There are a lot of these "polls" paid for by the GOP, and a lot of people who believe
everything they read or see on TV.

Do what you can to supoport your local Democrats, and get out and vote for them. We will see what happens in early November, but I'm planning a very big Thanksgiving celebration....

12. And, if you have the time, getting others out to vote is also
one of the best things that can be done.

11. Many of these same pollsters and pundits were embraced
here in 2008, when they had Obama winning. Now that they have us losing, there's something wrong with them. Don't you see the obvious holes in that kind of thinking?

14. I think the pundits are right.
We may lose the House this November. It's very unlikely we will lose the Senate.

19. Calling elections months before they happen ...
... is at best irresponsible. Why these people are given a public forum is something of a mystery. Our media is severely dysfunctional.
