MSNBC Daytime is totally worthless!
Sports and entertainment. Lady GaGa. Every stupid little story they can find. No wonder we're losing the election.

Morning Joke! Nobody's told them that they are the two most boring self centered people on Earth!

Tod and Savannah working against us and sucking up to the right!

Andrea Mitchell the "Complain about Iran everyday report"

The rest of the hosts. "Hi we're silly!"

If the MSNBC signal went dead from 6 to 4 nobody would even notice!

If I worked on the nightime shows I'd be pissed about having to pull all the dead worthless weight!

I wouldn't be surprised if KO and Maddow were planning a move after the election. As in AWAY!

9. On Saturdays sometimes I'm forced to turn to Fox just for the crawl while working out on the stairs.
I just never use the CNN crawl - don't know why but I don't. At least with FOX you get the added potential entertainment value.

My boyfriend will walk in and ask me if FOX is part of the heart stress/exercise regimen or am I trying for a stroke.

18. Fox News and CNN ran their regular programming through Labor Day
MSNBC ran some generic news program through 11 a.m. and then went on a programming jag of Lock Up through the rest of the day.

If anyone wants to know why MSNBC is considered non-basic cable by some cable companies I think this explains it.

3. MSNBC is in the business of selling advertising time
They'll air whatever they think will draw the largest audience.

If the MSNBC signal went dead from 6 to 4 nobody would even notice!

Most people who have daytime jobs certainly wouldn't. But we're not the target audience for those hours.

7. You're including Matthews in the list of shows you like?
It appears from the posts I've read here that he has recently begun attacking republicans again, but I can barely tolerate that fool even when I agree with him. There's just something about his style or personality that makes me want to smack him.

Ed Schultz, Olbermann, and Rachel. That's about all I can handle on MSNBC.

40. you have an internet connection go to,
http://www.democracynow.org/

it lists TV stations that air DN, you can view DN over the net or download to your PDA, you will hear in depth coverage and interviews you will NEVER see on M$M.

DN is on Link TV also a great source for information. It has a long liberal history. I dont have the time to tell all but much info is on their site.

Its carried on Dish and ch 375 on Direct TV Satellite and others. I strongly urge you to find it and become a regular, its the ONLY news show where I feel I have learned something, it is not geared to 5th graders, I get great cerebral satisfaction from it, you will too.

Amy Goodman is the host, an accomplished author and speaker, she delivers a no nonsense approach to the issues of the day and historical events as well.

Like Democratic Underground, Democracy Now virtually save my sanity in the early 2000s it showed me there were many more like myself I was not alone in the sea of insanity.

Pacifica, Link TV, and Democracy Now are viewer supported. Let me know what you think, and thanks for your interest.

Jim

14. They know their daytime audience
is mostly Generation Suck* retirees and likely to be conservobots.

It's only when the younger folks get off work on the east coast that the programming improves.

The whole picture is that the station is suffering from multiple personality disorder.

*The generation between the WWII/Depression generation and the Boomers, too old for the 60s and too young for WWII and Korea. They bought into the 50s and then had the rules changed (mostly due to their GOP voting history) and life has mostly sucked for them. They realize they've been had but can't quite connect the dots.

Even worse, it turns into the Prison Channel on weekends.

If I could block the channel for selected hours and days, I would.

The ONLY reason I watch MSNBC is because of Countdown, the Rachel Maddow Show, and Big Ed's show.

I am interested to see if "The Final Word" will be good.

Here's a clue: MSNBC is WORSE THAN FOX. I don't care how many liberal hosts they have one. Their agenda is clear and it serves the interests of GE, not Liberals.

39. MSNBC is full of right wing and far left pundits. No one is supportive
of President Obama even though he is leading a center-left nation as a center-left president.

I guess if there isn't controversy, then their ratings flop.
