If Bush was not the one who called Mrs. Ashcroft we'd have heard denials by now.

It seems Mrs. Ashcroft would have called Comey last night and said "no, it wasn't George Bush" if in fact it wasn't Bush.

Bush can't deny it because he'll have to call Mrs. Ashcroft a liar and they don't like going after GOP women.

It's been more than 24 hours with no denial. Bush called Mrs. Ashcroft while her husband was in intensive care and told her he was sending hench men over. She had to know it was not a friendly visit because she called Comey's aid to warn them that something was "afoot".

I hate that the press loves this story because it is simple but at least they are pushing something evil to do with Bush...for once. I guess we just needed a scandal they could script into a made for TV movie to get the media's attention.

I have the same theory about Bush's drug use. He lies outright whenever he thinks he can get away with it, so the fact that he won't make any categorical statements suggests that someone, or several someones, has more information.
