Have you ever heard about Mrs. Romney being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis?
Ann Romney was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1998.

I don't think I have ever heard this before. Have you? I found this the other day when I was looking for garbage on Romney (I'm not saying THIS is garbage). Remember the big freakin' issue the media made over Elizabeth Edwards and her Cancer? Why no screaming over Mitt not staying home to take care of his wife who has MS? I know some MS cases can be mild for years, but that's not the point. I haven't even heard this little tidbit on ANY news report/interview EVER. Why not? Should it be an issue? She does campaign for him all the time. Shouldn't people know the possible next first lady (I know, that's a stretch!) has MS???

1. They mentioned it in the 60 minutes interview.
Hadn't heard of it before then, though.

2. so what?
Many people have MS. It doesn't mean they cannot work nor have a life or must be cared for by someone. Maybe Mrs. Romney will outlive Mr. Romney for all we know.

The cause of MS is UNKNOWN. Every case is different. I frankly believe it is no one's damn business myself.

P.S. and I am not big Romney fan either.

3. It's never been a secret. It was well known when he was Gov.
and she spoke about it. I believe that it has been under control but I am sure she watches her schedule and is careful. I don't think this should be an issue. She has chosen to support him in this campaign and, after all, she's not running for President.

4. It isn't an issue, and it isn't a secret.
I admire the way some MS patients learn to adapt and go on with their lives. I don't envy them.

What some here are saying, is that Katie Couric and a few of the other talking heads are not screeching about it the way they screeched about Elizabeth Edwards.

5. I heard about it while he was still pretending to be Gov. of MA.
Not at the beginning though. I think it was in the last couple
of years that I had heard her talk about it in an interview.
