His defense of Sen. Homer Simpson and the Cat Food Commission and his high handed dismissal of the young woman who dared to challenge beltway conventional wisdom on Social Security (with the facts) was enough for me to know I wasn't interested in what he had to say.
He seems a bit too connected to establishment journalism to suit me.
He'll never be 1% the journalist that Rachel Maddow is.

Note that courage is not a moral component and can be charged by either side.
What you do with courage defines its value in a good/bad thought paradigm.
Courage is neutral, probably why the Eagles in Tolkien lore were neutral, and rewarded courage.
Although I think the courage I find is more good then bad, so not sure I think on that the same way, but might be how you see it.
