When you're unemployed, chances are you CAN'T AFFORD HEALTH CARE.
So, we just let 15 percent of the U.S. population die? Is that the solution?
What a pompous piece of shit asshole this man is.
People are struggling to put food on the table, and he's worried about the poor millionaires. How will they ever survive?

1. When I saw that Maria B. was coming on the show, I changed the channel quickly. |
|
Ever since I saw her sulkily saying "Cut entitlements!" at some discussion or other, I swore never to see her disgusting face again if I could help it...

4. I watched her...She asked Axelrod why the president |
|
"didn't mention middle class tax cuts until now".
Axelrod "schooled" her on that in short order.

Paraphrased: We need 50 billion for our infrastructure, how about taking it out of Afghanistan. We're rebuilding Afghanistan - we need to rebuild here. Arian Huffington.
Ariana, there you go again, making sense. Silly woman :sarcasm:

We can spend billions in a foreign country, while here at home everything crumbles. People live on the streets and can't afford health care, and we do nothing about it.
As George W. Bush said, "If you get sick, you go to the emergency room..." That about sums it up, doesn't it? No thought to how you pay for that EXPENSIVE emergency room visit. And if you can't pay, everyone else pays more to cover.
Nation building should begin here at home, first. Then we'll worry about other nations, OK?

9. Watching a bunch of people who make 6 & 7 figure saleries |
|
complain about how a 4% increase in their taxes will be such a burden makes me think of the words of John Kenneth Galbraith who said, "The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness".

12. I kept waiting for someone to call him on it... |
|
But no one did.
He actually made a comment about "does the wealthy person make the decision to send his kid to a good college or does he lay-off a worker"?
Nobody told him that the taxcuts have been in effect for the last ten years and are in effect as we speak. Why didn't they create jobs and why aren't they creating jobs now? Were they "nervous and uncertain" when Bush was President also?
