Boehner: Let's extend the tax cuts until the NEXT election year |
|
...then... in 2012... we'll propose extending the tax cuts until the NEXT election year.
...then... in 2014... we'll propose extending the tax cuts until the NEXT election year...
...and so on...and so on....
Interesting that the plan is ALWAYS to extend the tax cuts to expire in an election year.

4. I think if Obama was smart he would |
|
extend them for six months on the provision that we could see where they created at least 500,000 jobs. If they didn't they would be cut back immediately. And if they ever gave them again it would be tied to the manufacturing of jobs. BUT I would also put a tax ON goods coming in from countries where the big corporations took the jobs. That tax would come to the same price as if the goods were manufactured here. And if the country sending in the goods didn't buy OUR goods at the same rate we would stop importing til they did. The Democrats are as bad as the republicans they don't have the guts to put their foot down.

5. How about letting the tax cuts expire on the rich but offsetting |
|
the revenue loss 100% for 2011 with a 1 year cut in the payroll tax for everyone up to the $106,000 limit. That way everyone (even the rich) would get a tax cut on their income under $106,000 and the Republicans can't blame any tax increase if the economy doesn't improve. That way you transfer that tax cut for the rich to people that will spend it and stimulate the economy instead of speculating on Wall Street.

6. Business would get a huge tax break if that was done |
|
You do know that business matches Social Security and Medicare payments. If you pay 6.5% for Social Security, so does the employer. I think that would be a bigger break for business than the tax cuts are now..

7. Notice the only thing he's mad about it ending tax cuts for the rich |
|
Obama is extending tax cuts for the middle class, but Boner isn't the least bit interested in ANYTHING that helps the middle class.
Screw the Boner!!
