Has anyone ever made headway arguing with those cement-heads? EVER? In past years I've logged onto 'open' boards in order to point & laugh at the conservatroid neocon-apologist specimens in attendance, but I never kidded myself that any argument - no matter how logical or truth-laden - would ever make a dime's worth of difference to those pinheads(no offense to Zippy or actual microencephalics).

Goin' a-trollin'? Knock yerself out! Just don't try to recruit people from THIS board to do something most people here consider abhorrent when it's done to us! As with people who are even now advocating the burning of Xian bibles to counter the hatemongers who plan to burn Qurans, two wrongs don't make a right, and in most cases, such folly is actually more counterproductive to our cause than doing nothing.

Speaking of which...if any inroads are to be made, it's among the Great Middle - among people who are vaguely aware that things aren't right with our society but just want to muddle through life as best they can. If you can challenge their comfort zone and make them think, THEN you've accomplished something! On the other hand, playing silly games with conservatroids, neocon apologists & fundies is a fool's errand.
